Bangalore Requirements


The following are some positions that we are looking to fill:


Agile / OTM for SCM Specialty Services Practice - Bangalore


Role Description:

Supply Chain Management (SCM) in Oracle SSI has seen the fastest growth over the last few years and continues to grow to see interesting times ahead. In addition to core products, specialized skills like CMRO, WMS, ASCP has seen growth in the last 12 to 18 months. With a changing Landscape in the addition of acquired products like Glog (OTM), Demantra and Agile the portfolio of services in SCM has increased significantly and the group is expected to have a phenomenal growth in future. As part of Oracle SSI’s Vision 2010 strategy our focus on specialized skills and acquired products will be greater and will have specific KPIs as a measure of success.


Location : Bangalore/Hyderabad


Oracle Supply Chain Technical consultants


Product Skills: Very good knowledge of Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, iProcurement .

Additional Skills: Knowledge of BOM, WIP. Knowledge of R12 is desirable. Experience of working onsite at customer locations is desirable.

Role: As part of the Implementation Services Group, the consultant will work on consulting engagements and implementations. Consultants will also get an opportunity to assist with bids and proposals. In addition, the consultants would be asked to work on solution development from time to time.


Job Level: Associate/Staff/ Senior/ Principal Consultant


EBS Financials Functional Consultant

Product Skills: Very good knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash management, Purchasing.

Additional skills: Knowledge of one or more of these modules: Projects, Property Manager, Lease Management, Treasury, Financial Services Accounting Hub. Knowledge of R12 is desirable. Experience of working onsite at customer locations is desirable.

Role: As part of the Implementation Services Group, the consultant will work on consulting engagements and implementations. Consultants will also get an opportunity to assist with bids and proposals. In addition, the consultants would be asked to work on solution development from time to time.

Job Level: Senior/ Principal Consultant


Project Managers (consultants)

Project Management Skills: Should have prior experience of managing customer facing consulting engagements onsite. Very good negotiating skills. Demonstrated abilty of being able to deal with the highest levels of management.

Product Skills: Good knowledge of any product suite of Oracle EBS, Peoplesoft or Siebel.

Additional Skills: Prior international exposure is desired. PMP certification will be a definite advantage.


Role: As part of the Implementation Services Group, the consultant will manage consulting engagements and implementations.


Job Level: Senior/ Principal Consultant

Common for all positions

Travel: All these roles will involve extensive travel. Onsite assignments may last upto 15 months (with appropriate breaks in line with company policy and project schedules). Travel could be to any geography: Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, Western Europe etc. Those having travel constraints need not apply.


Personality Traits and other skills:

Highly self-motivated and energetic
Ability to work in an independent mode without constant supervision
Ability to derive/define scope in situations where clear specifications are not available
Excellent communication skills
Very Good documentation skills
Ability to take up challenges and risks


Job Description

Positions are current open at all levels for most areas. Selected candidates will be placed at appropriate levels based on skill and experience. A generic job description fro each of the levels is as below


Staff Consultants: Candidates will have some prior, relevant work experience. They will work as consultants in project teams and will work as per the instructions and guidance of the senior members of the project teams. Candidates will be expected to pick up inticacies and nuances of onsite consulting projects.


Senior Consultants: Candidates will have good prior experience of having worked on onsite implementation projects. They will be expected to take independent charge of their workstreams. Should have ability to delegate work to juniors, groom, mentor and nurture them.


Principal Consultants: Candidates would have extensive onsite implementation experience. Should have good prior experience of managing a workstream independently. They will be expected to play team lead/ functional lead roles. They will also be expected to interact and liaise with senior management of customer.


Senior Principal: Extensive prior experience of playing team lead/ functional lead roles in onsite implementation projects. Proven ability to engage at the highest levels of customer’s management. In functional streams, the consultant will be expected to play the role of a solution architect.
